No more foreign faces disoriented in Cagliari, because the first tourist app for cruise passengers arriving at the port to discover the Sardinian capital arrives in the city.

This is a project presented by Aiò Sardinia srl, a service company for the tourism sector, aimed at informing and supporting tourists during their stay in Cagliari.

The Hi Cagliari Application becomes for foreigners a virtual tourist guide that accompanies them to discover the territory of Cagliari, through maps and local thematic itineraries.

A tourist guide that can be downloaded free of charge through the App Store and Google Play on smartphones, tablets and iPhones.

Hi Cagliari is divided into several thematic sections (History, Culture, Landscapes, Flavours, Shopping, Nature, Events and Services) each of which improves the experience of cruise passengers who arrive for the first time in the city (and then wonder “what to visit in Cagliari in a few days?”) guiding them through museums, historic centers, places to eat, beaches, nature parks and scenic areas.

The Hi Cagliari app is absolutely capable of providing a complete service for tourism, increasing the lack of services that until now has represented a huge handicap in the local system.

Services For Tourists In Cagliari

As the creators and managers of the Hi Cagliari project explain: “At the port of Cagliari, the lack of a clearly visible infopoint forces cruise passengers to ask for information from local citizens and traders.

The idea of Hi Cagliari was born from the need to help tourists to find, more easily, public services and centers of historical and cultural interest.

Within the mobile application, they are provided:

  1. Updated maps and routes “From” and “Towards” the historical and cultural centers of the city of Cagliari.
  2. Reviews and information on services for tourism: car rental, pharmacies, mailboxes, restaurants and pizzerias, bed and breakfast, shops and services of excursion by sailboat.
  3. Detailed information on the duration, length and difficulty of the guided routes both towards the historical centres and within the natural areas (Monte Urpinu, Pond of Molentargius, Saline, Sella del Diavolo and others).
  4. Updates on events, exhibitions, gatherings, shows and local festivals. With a detailed description of the activities, in the “Events” section of the same tourist application.

To know the mobile tourist application, go to the official website and browse the App.

You will find the application simple, convenient and functional, always within reach of “touch”, for your stay in Sardinia.
